Sue Gable epitomized what King Solomon described in the last chapter of Proverbs, 31:10-13: “A woman of valor, who can find? Far beyond pearls is her value. Her husband’s heart relies on her, and he shall lack no fortune. She bestows goodness upon him, never evil, all the days of her life. She seeks wool and flax, and her hands work willingly”. May Sue’s soul reside in Paradise. May her memories be a source of strength and comfort to the Gable family and may her memory forever be a blessing.

Though I didn’t know her, I’m sending my love especially to the grandkids who were my students. Grandmothers are special and I’m thankful you had yours so long. I know you will miss her so.

Jim, Hope & Bobby, Kirk & Dedee, Peggy and I were so saddened to hear of the passing of Ms. Sue. The Gable family made Peggy and me feel so welcome at Beulah when we moved to Georgia in 1994 and we will never forget the love and kindness your family and many others showed us. Sue always had a kind word to say to us and she always told me she loved to read the Poems that I gave her, she told me one day that sometimes if she could not sleep she would read them. Sue has put memories in my head that will never leave me. Since we have moved back home to South Carolina we have missed being with all of you, and we want you to know that we are praying for all of Y’all in the days ahead but we all know we will see Sue again. God Bless the Gable Family
