Ms. Shirley Mae Maragh, age 59, of Fairburn, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. She was born February 3, 1962 in Jamaica, the daughter of the late Mr. Sardaugh Maragh and the late Mrs. Joyce Moonasing. Ms. Maragh loved helping people and worked as a CNA. She loved listening to music in her free time and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Ms. Maragh is survived by her daughters, Caroline Powell of Jamaica, Jayann Bonnick of Jamaica, Sashanna Zavala of Texas and Theresea Walker of Fairburn, Georgia; her sister, Pamell Williams of California; her grandchildren, Pazari Powell, Taraji Powell, Leah Zavala, Thalia Zavala, Liam Zavala, Hannah Bonnick, Haylee Bonnick, Ariyanna Phillips and Amelia Phillips.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory of Douglasville, Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 12:00PM until 2:00PM. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn, Douglasville and live-streamed on the Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page. Following the service and in accordance with Ms. Maragh’s wishes, she will be cremated.

Dear aunty Shirley, if only I had answered or save just a little time when you reach out. All I was able to do was send a voice note through WhatsApp being that I was busy. This shocking situation that have presents itself, have made me think too busy is no excuse to not find time for your love ones. You had some encouraging words when I was going through my dark tunnel. I pray your soul is in heaven. I still can’t come to reality that your gone. Life is short and we never know when it will be our time.
