Robert Russell Perren, 78, passed away on April 24, 2022. He was born on January 31, 1944 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Lloyd Perren and the late Estelle Daniel.
He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the United States Coast Guard and Marines. Mr. Perren loved to make people laugh and enjoyed collecting eagles. He founded his own business Total Service HVAC and before he retired he was employed with Assured Comfort Heating and Air.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-daughter Sharon Hall; brother, David Perren; sisters, Gail Scoggins and Dale Wood. He is survived by his wife Catherine Elizabeth Mullins Perren; son, Rusty and Debby Perren Jr. of Tallapoosa; step-son, Mickey and Tara Thompson of Villa Rica; step-daughters, Jeanette and Troy Curtis of Temple, Rhonda Thompson and Bob Dobos of Moreland; sons-in-law Jerry Hall of Villa Rica and David and Wendy Thompson of Buchanan; twenty one grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
According to his wishes, Mr. Perren was cremated. The family will have a memorial service on May 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Church of God in Douglasville.
