Obituary For Robert Franklen Mize

Mr. Robert Franklen Mize, age 69 of Bremen, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born September 1, 1951 in Los Angeles, California the son of the late Mr. Herbert Welton Mize and the late Mrs. Nell Jo Millican Mize. Mr. Mize served in the National Guard Service for 7 years with his lifelong friend Ray King. He loved seeing the US driving a truck, gardening and working in the yard. Mr. Mize was a member of Faith Evangelical Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Andy Mayo
Mr. Mize is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sheila Mize of Bremen, Georgia; daughters and sons-in-laws, Lori and John Schmidt of Villa Rica, Georgia, Robin and Cory Mote of Temple, Georgia, Falecia and Jason Beveley of Pooler, Georgia; sister, Cathy Chronister of Oklahoma; brother, Freddy Mayo of Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Greg and Brittaney Rainwater of Villa Rica, Georgia, Garrett Rainwater and Kelsey Brazle of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Christina “Sissy” Mize of Temple, Georgia, Daniel Kilgore and Myia Hambrick of Athens, Georgia, Cathryn Davis and Greyson Krone of Killeen, Texas, Gavin Rainwater of Villa Rica, Georgia, Samantha Schmidt of Villa Rica, Georgia; six great grandchildren, Hunter, Nevaeh, Trapper, Nolan, Ruby, Asher; close family friend and loving neighbors in Bremen, Wanda and Vic Phillips; beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, December 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica with Pastor Kenneth McDaniel officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Rainwater, Gavin Rainwater, John Schmidt, Cory Mote, Jason Beverley and Daniel Kilgore. Honorary pallbearer will be Trapper McCullough.
