Obituary For Mary Ellen Casteel Swain

Mrs. Mary Ellen Swain, age 79 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021. She was born February 9, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. William Taft Casteel and the late Mrs. Grace Laverne Wiley Casteel. Mrs. Swain loved her family and was the grandmother of 10. Mrs. Swain was a member of Lithia Springs Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Carlton Swain; brother, Phillip David.
Mrs. Swain is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Timothy Henderson of Douglasville, Georgia; sons and daughters-in-laws, Ray Julius and Karen Moulder, Jr. of Stockbridge, Georgia, Kenneth Avery and Wendy Moulder of Concord, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Fredrick Donald and Yvonne Casteel of Panama City, Florida; ten grandchildren, Dash Moulder, Bailey Cooper, Chloe Yong, Samantha Henderson, Bryan Yong, Zachary Henderson, Macie Moulder, Swan Moulder, Jackson Moulder, Chance Moulder; several nieces and nephews also survive.
According to Mrs. Swain’s wishes, she will be cremated. The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date.
