I lived next door to Jo in Elementary school. And was in band with her in high school. She was a great person and the world lost a lovely lady.

Dear Family, David and I were saddened to learn of Jo’s passing but knowing in our hearts that joy comes in the home-coming of a beautiful soul such as her. She fought the long fight of her physical battles and now she can rest in the arms of the Savior. She was a good friend to my sister Joy, great wife and good mother. She was gracious, spunky and a great photographer. Jo will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Jo and I worked together at PLM. Jo had a spunk about her that was sassy yet sweet at the same time. Jo never met a stranger. I found out Jo had gone to dinner by herself 1 time while we were out of town and I said, “I will eat with you Mrs. Jo I don’t like when older people eat alone.” She laughed so hard it was our joke from then on. I loved Jo’s stories over Nascar and boy did she love her family and sweet grandbabies. My prayers are with her family and I know she’s in Heaven at peace.

Bobby and family, I was terribly saddened when Angela Maroney Watkins let us know yesterday afternoon that “Jo” had lost her long battle. She fought a good fight, finished the race, and has now gained her heavenly wings. May you, your children, and grandchildren accept my deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences. RIHP “Jo Steve
