Obituary For Jeffrey James Mezick

Mr. Jeffrey James Mezick, age 53 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, July 16, 2021. He was born February 8, 1968 in Lithia Springs, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. James William Mezick and the late Mrs. Linda Ann Defnall Mezick. Mr. Mezick worked for Team Toyota and PDQ for several years as a mechanic before going in business working for himself. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He was always there for anyone. Mr. Mezick loved to grill and feed others. Boating, fishing, and traveling were things he always enjoyed doing. Mr. Mezick was always happy.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Mezick.
Mr. Mezick is survived by his son, Justin Mezick of Douglasville, Georgia; sister, Cathy Thomas of Douglasville, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Friday, July 23, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM also Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Rev. Larry Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Guna miss your karaoke concerts, and your tummy desserts you’d cook, and laughing at you making fun of someone and of course guna miss your helping hand on all the cars and trucks that u and Wess would work on. I know we all our sad here without you but I know your healthy and happy back with ur mom dad and brother. And to you Justin I am so sorry for your loss or all your losses here the past few years but I do know this past yr and a half you lost the 2 most important people and the 2 ppl you were with the most and I know how it feelsand I wish I could say something to make the pain a little less or maybe words to give you comfort but I know no words could ever do that and I am sorry I will say I am sorry and Wess and I are here for whatever whenever you need it. You know where we are at usually. Stay strong anknow u got some of the best angels watching over you
