James Rowland Harmon, age 60, of Douglasville, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022. He was born on September 23, 1961, son of the late Mr. Archie Rowland Harmon, JR. Mr. Harmon enjoyed fishing and watching the University of Georgia play football. He also loved his little dog Spike very much.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Harmon Lewis.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Thompson Harmon; brother, Archie Lowell Harmon of Carnesville; Scott (Roxy) Harmon of Dallas; brother-in-law, Mark Lewis of Douglasville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
According to Mr. Harmon’s wishes he was cremated. A memorial service will take place at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Hwy 166 in Douglasville on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Terry Bradwell and Jeff Childers officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mr. Harmons honor to Ebenezer Baptist Church.
