Condolences

Heaven is definitely a more lively place with James there. We all know he is smiling and having a wonderful time with Eunice and all his love ones who have been there waiting. He is finally at peace. May we all feel blessed that God allowed us this wonderful man in our lives the time we had him, I know I do. Till we all get to that beautiful, peaceful place (Heaven) may we all cherish our time left here with the ones we love just as James did. RIP my dear friend.

Mac was our neighbor and was like a father to all of us he and Eunice have been thru so many things with us we had so many laughs and cries to many to count I’ll always remember him and daddy sitting on the back of macs truck and how heartbroken daddy was when they moved may God comfort all and say hi to mama and daddy and Eunice all my love Angel Jenkins

James was like a second Father to our entire family. Having been my Father’s best friend, trucking mate and fishing partner for more than 40 years, and stepping in to watch over our Mom after Dad passed away, put him at the heart of nearly every gathering we had. He joins the others that leave a large gap in our cog wheel, and life will not be the same without him. Rest in peace James, we know you deserve it. Give our love to Dad, Eunice and Stanley at the big reunion; we will see you all again some day. With much LOVE and broken hearts, the Ernest & Elizabeth Dowda Family

James has been a part of my life since I was 17 years old. We used to visit him and Eunice often. He loved to joke, laugh and tease. I’ll miss him. Fly high with the angels James. Tell Eunice and Nana we’ll see them soon.
