I remember Ellen and her smile as a nurse with Dr. Burak after George and I had the twins and lived in Byron NY. Also Cathy, my mother had a ancestor buried in that cemetery you mentioned Many prayers for Tommy and both families for this great loss.

My first hazy memory is Aunt Ellen holding her arms out to me so I would take a step toward her. She she spent the rest of our relationship encouraging and supporting me. She was so loving, fun, zany and determined! She was a tenderhearted nature lover, a very organized person and a great cook, and might hold the record for longest phone call. She made fantastic cookies, special holiday meals and fun every day times. She looked great in every color, and was a very put together. She used to buy my sisters and I outfits, down to the accessories. Life won’t be the same without the Queen of the Treetops, but we all have so many things to take forward with us in our lives because she loved us without reserve.
