Condolences

Ronnie was the best supervisor anyone could ask for. I worked for him in the Fleet Department at Georgia Power. We had such a great time. The job was stressful at times (tag season) especially. Ronnie had such a quick witted, dry sense of humor, he’d make any bad day good. That was my favorite job during my tenure at GPC and when he left to go to Forest Park it just wasn’t the same. I know how much he loved Glenda and his dachshunds. He talked of them all the time. You will be missed my friend.

Ronnie was a comfort to me as I faced carotid artery surgery – he had been through it and answered many questions. More than that, he had an understanding about life. Once he was closing out a safety meeting and asked if we had any questions. Me, trying to be a smartass, ask if he knew the meaning of Life? To my surprise and everyone’s delight, Ronnie simply replied without a moments hesitation – JOY. Truly, Ronnie sought to have joy in his life and to surround himself with joyful people. May his family and friends know the joy that Ronnie shared and be at peace with his homecoming. God’s Blessings

So sad Ronnie was a great friend and associate. One of the most talented men I have ever known. I cherish the memories we made over the years and will miss our monthly talks. Dave Wheelus
