Condolences

Soon after I caught up with Fred, thanks to this fancy, new fangled technology I couldn’t remember for certain if Dave knew Fred as well. When I asked him if he knew or remembered Fred he didn’t hesitate. He said, “I wonder whatever happened to him,” and I was able say, “Well, I found him & he’s doing well.” What we did, getting together for dinner while you were in town Fred, is a thing rarely done in 21st century America. I am so glad that we made it happen. Those photos perfectly depict what kind of time we had together. – Doyle Johnson

I’m sitting here looking at all the photos of David and it is so easy to see what a great guy he was. I wish I had known him better. It was awesome to meet him in Newfoundland at the reunion. He was sweet and fun and funny and up for anything! He fit with our family so well! I always thought we would get down to Georgia to visit you all or that you could come visit us in Maryland some time in the future. I thought we would have more time… You have all been in my thoughts and prayers constantly since this happened and I just want you to know how much we love you and are wishing you strength and peace to help you navigate this horrible loss…God Bless you all! All our love, Mandy, Mike, Chaya and Miriam xoxo – Amanda Schneider

David was my beloved stepson. We became best friends over the years, hunting and fishing, and just spending quality time together. He was a great man of integrity and honesty. I am proud to have been his friend for almost 30 years. I feel like I have lost my only son. I will cherish our wonderful memories forever on earth and until we meet again. My condolences to Jessica and the entire Keese family and friends. Rest in peace buddy. – David Snyder

I was so saddened to hear of David’s passing. I didn’t know him very well but he was much too young to leave this world and his family, my heart goes out to you, as I know the pain firsthand. My husband, Allen, was only 50,and I was 41, when he passed away. David was a good man, a talented man, a family man. He will live on in the hearts of the people he touched in his time here. My sincere condolences to Jessica and family as you grieve. – Sheila Gore

Ran into David one day by chance because of work. We met at the Barnes Hardware Railroad siding to transport a big transformer to one of my substations. My deepest sympathy to you all in this time of sorrow. David was a pleasure to know and to be around. His memory will live in our hearts forever. – Clint Johnson
