Mrs. Clara Belle Hollis Bryant, age 91, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born July 8, 1929 in Paulding County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Tim Jones and the late Eula Shedd. She worked as a material sorter for Leggett and Platt. Mrs. Bryant was a member of Smyrna United Methodist Church in Paulding County. She enjoyed crocheting afghans, cooking, traveling and flowers.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Hollis and her sons, Ronald Hollis and Randall Hollis.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, James Arnold Bryant of Dallas; her sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Fern Hollis of Dallas, Donald Hollis of Villa Rica, David Hollis of Dallas and Sammy Hollis of Dallas; eight grandchildren, Jeff, Melissa, Lynn, Nicole, Dustin, Devin, Kristie (Joe and Kaleb) and Ashley; several great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services of Villa Rica, Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services of Villa Rica with Rev. Troy White and Mr. Jerry Keown officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery in Paulding County.
