Obituary for Thelma Seals
Mrs. Thelma Elizabeth Carter Seals, 84, of Stockmar Rd. Villa Rica, passed away, Friday, June 8, 2018 at her residence. She was born, December 6, 1933 in Paulding County, GA the daughter of the late Leon Jesse Carter and the late Lola Bell Roberts Carter. She was retired from Lockheed Martin and was a member of the Victory Tabernacle Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Shirley Padgett and Laura Carter, and 4 brothers, Thomas Walter Carter, Horace Carter, Scotty Carter and Ricky Carter. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Ralph D. Seals of Villa Rica, son, Derryl Lee Seals of Villa Rica, daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Robert Hall of Villa Rica, sister, Peggy McCoy of Villa Rica, brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Kim Carter of St. Petersburg, FL. 3 grandchildren, Grayson Hall, Gracie Hall and Nicholas Seals, one great grandson, Christopher Seals, and a special nephew she raised as her own David Carter of Bremen. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 12:00 PM till 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Luke and Bro. I.L. Smith officiating. Musical selections of Sheltered in the Arms of God, Iâve had a Good Life and I Own it all to Him, Rejoice will be provided by the Victory Tabernacle Choir and Jesus Loves Me by Gracie Hall. Interment will follow in the Melrose Hills Memorial Park. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Cody Brown, Eric Montgomery, Kirk Brown, Mark Carter, Sean Carter, Nicholas Seals David Boles and Logan Brown.
