Mr. Robert âBobbyâ Marion Ward, 81 of Villa Rica, GA passed away, Monday, July 27, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 3, 1933 in Carrollton, GA the son of the late William Marion Ward and the late Mary Webb Ward. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He was retired from the constructions business and also Wal-Mart. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Cook and one daughter, Deborah Brown and one sister, Claudette Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Couch Ward of Villa Rica, step son and step daughter-in-law, Allen and Samantha Cook of Waco, sister, Donna White of Redding, CA, brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Carolyn Ward of Louiston, CA, Kenneth Ward of Texas and Ray and Rosalie Ward of Fairfield, CA, 8 step grandchildren, Natasha Cook of Waco, Jacquelyn Driver of Waco, Nikkalaus Driver of Waco, Christie Brown of Washington, Lindsey Brown of Villa Rica, Scott and Megan Cook of Villa Rica, Michael Cook of Villa Rica and Kimberly Cook of Villa Rica, 4 step great grandchildren, Brayden Cook, Allissa Cook, Clayton Smith, and Brylee Cook all of Villa Rica. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, July 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Flat Rock Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Brown and Dr. Ron Huggins officiating. Visitation with the family will be immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Robert âBobbyâ Ward memorial fund, c/o: Mrs. Mary Ward, 306 Westview Drive, Villa Rica, Georgia 30180.
