Obituary for Carter White
Brother Van White, age 65, of Villa Rica, passed away, Friday, August 19, 2016. He was born February 18, 1951 in Cedartown, the son of the late Mr. Jesse Carter White and the late Mrs. Nellie Roselle Liner White. He made it his life mission to live his entire life for the Lord. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend to so many. He pastored several churches in Georgia and Alabama and spent his final days helping churches across America with a ministry known as Mission America. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Morgan and Dennis White.He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Shelia Rutledge White of Villa Rica; daughters, Angelia White of Palm Coast, FL, Amy Tharington of Winston Salem, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Scott Cramer of Dacula; son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Emily White of Villa Rica; ten grandchildren, Avery Samples, Anderson Samples, Avanna Samples, Avanleigh Samples all of Palm Coast, FL, Chloe Cramer, Callie Grace Cramer, Justus Cramer, Carleigh Rose Cramer all of Dacula, Braylan Tharington and Cohen Tharington of Winston Salem, NC.; sister, Phyllis Eskew of Carrollton several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, August 22, 2016 at 3:00 PM from White Oak Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Lee, Brother Chris Simpson, Brother Scott Cramer, and Brother Joe Darby officiating. Interment will follow in White Oak Springs Cemetery with Brother Rich Fulton officiating. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
