Mrs. Faye Darlene Craig, age 52, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. She was born January 2, 1957 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of Mrs. Minnie Faye New Chambers and the late Mr. William Clayton Chambers, Sr. She was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church of Villa Rica and was a homemaker. She was devoted to her family, was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Junior Craig of Douglasville; daughters and sons-in-law, Tonia and Michael Berry of Villa Rica and Brandy and Jeffrey Chamberlain, Jr. of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Michele Craig of Hiram; her mother, Mrs. Minnie Faye New Chambers of Douglasville; brother, William Clayton Chambers, Jr. of Douglasville; 8 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, May 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Eddie Wyatt officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Paulding County. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica, Monday, May 18, 2009 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
