Mrs. Edith Reis Moore, 62, of Old Draketown Trail, Temple, Georgia, formerly of Bulman Alley, Trion, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 19, 2005 at her residence.
She was born October 30, 1943, in Germany. She was the daughter of the late Johan Reis and the late Katharina Rohl Reis. Mrs. Moore worshipped at the Villa Rica Church of Christ. She worked as a finisher in the textile industry.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” H. Moore and her brother, Helmut Reis.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Donna Moore of Temple and Kenneth Moore of Temple; sisters, Helga Brunner, Ingrid Hainline and Karola Oramas; brothers, Dietmar Reis and Siegfried Reis; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Minister Patrick Gray officiating. Pallbearers will be Shane Moore, David Moore, Vernon Moore, Adam Blackmon, Harold Moore and Jimmy Reynolds.
Interment will follow at the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee with graveside service at 2:30PM.
The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Monday, November 21, 2005, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM
