Mr. Frank A. Tumlin, age 75, of Tyson Road, Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born October 9, 1934 in Randolph County, Alabama the son of the late Mr. Robert A. Tumlin and the late Mrs. Luanie Armstrong Tumlin. He was a member of Utopia Baptist Church. He retired from Atlanta Wire Works after 33 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Beverly Tumlin Ridgway Ellis and his daughter by choice, Jennifer Henry; 2 sisters and 7 brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mrs. Venia J. Waits Tumlin of Villa Rica; daughter, Sharon L. Dills of Villa Rica; son-in-law, Dennis J. Dills Of Villa Rica; 4 grandchildren, Tiffany Dills, Deanna Dills and her fiancé, Scott Minto, Ashley K. Dills and Loren Chase Ridgway; 3 great grandchildren, Parker Wooten, Brady Perry and Hayden Saxon; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The Tumlin Family would like to extend a special thank you to Vista Care Hospice and the Ward Family for all their love and support.
Funeral Services for Mr. Frank A. Tumlin will be conducted Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Brother Chad Long and Brother Jerry Hollis officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The following will serve as pallbearers: R.L. Ward, Danny Tumlin, Travis Ward, Kevin Ward, Tim Tyson and Tony Tyson. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica, Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
