Mrs. Kathleen Kitchens George, age 82, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Monday January 25, 2010 at Tanner Medical Center, Villa Rica.
She was born December 4, 1927, the daughter of the late John Kitchens and Ruby Kelly Kitchens. She was a homemaker and a member of the Villa Rica Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed reading her bible and gospel music. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Eurell George; sons, Joseph Timothy George, James Rickey George, Tommy George and Earl George.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in law, Patricia and Herman Woody of Villa Rica, grandchildren, Travis George, Katie George, J.T. George, Heather Holland, Karen George, Kenneth George, Patricia George, Theresa Shaw, Joshua George. Several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday January 28 2010 at 1:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Donald Kiker, Rev. John George, Rev. Harvey Sailors officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by The Christian Heritage. Interment will follow in the Powell Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 10:00AM until 8:00PM.
