Mrs. Audrey Allene Rutledge Morgan, age 81, of Austell, Georgia passed away October 31, 2009 at Tranquility Hospice in Austell. She was born in Paulding County to the late Mr. Lemual Rutledge and the late Mrs. Flora Carroll Rutledge. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Morgan was an avid supporter of the Republican party and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Morgan is preceded in death by her son Wayne Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Earl L. Morgan; daughters and son-in-law Diane Morgan of Austell, Sherry and Bob Evans of Stockbridge; sisters Hattie Mae Ruff of Mableton, Melba Ruth Halfacre of Hawthorne, Florida; grandchildren Cari Musgrave, Melissa Boyd, Stephanie Anderson, Michael Evans, Justin Evans; great-grandchildren Joshua Musgrave, Jarred Musgrave, Jake Musgrave, Dallas Davis, Lauren Boyd.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 2:00PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Clarence Cravey officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday November 2, 2009 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Douglas Chapel.
