Jones-Wynn Funeral Home – recently ranked among the top two percent of funeral homes in the country- has been awarded the National Funeral Directors Association’s (NFDA) Best of the Best Award. This prestigious recognition honors firms for their development and execution of an innovative and creative program or service that had a positive impact on the families or communities they served. Only eight funeral homes in the country were awarded this honor this year. “For Jones-Wynn Funeral Home to receive this award is the community’s assurance that they are receiving the finest in funeral service.” Richard Myers, the Past President of the National Funeral Directors Association.
“The Best of the Best Award was designed to highlight the truly unique ideas being implemented in funeral homes across the country,” said NFDA Chief Executive Officer Christine Pepper. Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, already committed to high standards of excellence, has shown their dedication to those they serve and the profession at-large by developing programs and services that are particularly innovative and meaningful. “We are humbled to receive this national honor on behalf of the community we serve” Ellen Wynn McBrayer, Jones-Wynn Funeral Home.
The Pursuit of Excellence Award Program honors funeral homes for outstanding service to families, commitment to ongoing education and professional development, and dedication to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
